Linda Ann Waller Fishback, 66, was born July 1, 1954 in Nashville, TN to Horace McDowell and Vera Waller. She moved on to glory Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green Sister Fishback left Nashville to attend Cumberland Junior College in Lebanon, TN. She later earned a Masters Degree from Western Kentucky University and taught at Warren Central High School in Special Education for 24 years. She loved her students and loved cheering for the Warren Central Dragons Basketball Teams.
She met the love of her life at Cumberland Junior College. They were married in Oakland, KY for a memorable 46 years and to this union two children were born.
Linda professed a hope in Christ at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, TN on one Easter Sunday at the age of 10 years old. After moving to Bowling Green, she joined Oakland Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with the Sunday School Class until her husband was called to pastor at Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church where she was honored to serve as First Lady. She continued to work with the Sunday School Class, the Young Adults and wherever she was needed.
She leaves to mourn and cherish precious memories her husband, Rev. Charles Fishback; two children: Treleisia Fishback and Daymeon Fishback; mother: Vera Waller; Grandchildren: Zha Tavia Dodge(Nicholas), Triston Kimbrough, Se'nya Irvin, Zayin Irvin, and Trevor Irvin; great grandchildren: Isabella and Rebekah; sister: Vickie Waller; brother: Terry Grimes (Brenda); several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.
