Not sure what to say?

Last year at this time (December 2023), I sent Linda a birthday card. I had seen her earlier in the year at the wake for Paul Mirsky, and we promised to get together in 2023, but we never did. After she received her card, she texted me back with such enthusiasm and gratitude that I had remembered her birthday. We continued to text each other, and agreed to meet about a fundraising idea I had for the Belknap Mill. We tried to meet three times, but she had to postpone each set date due to her...

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I got to know her over the past several years through my work at MacDowell, where she was a beloved member of the community, attending our events and supporting time and space for artists. She was a very thoughtful and kind person who was always a pleasure to speak with. My deepest condolences to all of her friends and family.

I have known Linda as long as I can remember, starting as a small child on Nesmith Street in Lowell.  My family and Linda both had apartments in the same building - I have fond memories of being included in long visits that my mother and Linda enjoyed in her bright and sunny kitchen nook.  Linda has been an important part of my life over the years, and we shared many laughs and adventures.  I have especially fond memories of a visit she made to Russia when I was living there in the 90s.  We...

I am so sorry to learn of Linda's passing. She was a devoted yoga enthusiast, extraordinary gardener, and dear friend. Every time the Clara Curtis mums bloom I will think of her. My condolences to her family and friends.

To Debbie, Patrice and all of Linda's immediate family, I send my sincere condolences on your loss of Linda. We who also loved her share in your grief. It is so saddening to think that we no longer have her smiling presence here among us. This is such a shock for me, because I had not been in touch since her birthday and had not heard from her after sending a digital St. Patrick's Day card in late February and again a week ago and then leaving her a voicemail message on her cell line...

Linda will be greatly missed. She was an amazing woman. She was one of the kindest people I have met. My sympathy goes out to her family and all who knew her.

I met Linda in 1987, when I was hired as Executive Director of the Belknap Mill. She helped me get settled and not be overwhelmed. We shared good times. She joined the board, and we worked on many projects. Last August, we ran into each other at Paul Mirski's Celebration of Life. She looked elegant and beautiful, as always. She gave me a wonderful compliment, and we promised to get together for lunch. I sent her a birthday card in December - her birthday was January 1. She texted me back,...
