Not sure what to say?

We met many years ago as Mothers at dancing classes. We continued are friendship long afterwards on the telephone. Linda was brilliant. Curious. A great conversationalist. An artist. A fierce, proud Mother in the best sense. I will miss her. I am diminished by her absence. My sympathies go out to all of you and your family. Selby M. Doughty

I am grateful for so many happy memories of long afternoon visits with Linda and Fred in the only kitchen with a fireplace that I knew. The warmth of her love and her fiery passion for the causes she championed will never be extinguished.

Dear Family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy.
Sincerely,

I and my daughters send our sympathy to the family of Linda Givens. We remember her with loving thoughts. Betty Brinkman, Naida Kirkaldie Burgess, Kathleen Kirkaldie Boas and Carla Kirkaldie Krieder.

I knew Linda through my in-laws, she was their neighbor across the street. Every time I saw Linda she had a smile on her face and a funny story or anecdote to share- she was charming! She always loved to see our son and loved to get hugs and kisses from him as if he were her own family. She was an intelligent, vibrant and humorous woman- so glad I had the honor of knowing her.

Linda and I have been friends for 67 years. We've stayed in touch a couple times a month during all those years, and many visits back and forth. We were room-mates in Nursing School as well. To say I will miss her is an understatement. I admired her and loved her. So many
memories!!!!! Joan

I am sorry that Linda is gone. I worked with her for some time and found her having a great sense of humor and compassion for her patients. I will miss her.

I remember Linda with great fondness...always kind, joyful, and full of stories about her family. I was the receptionist years ago for Meneely & Margolis (Pediatrics) when we regularly saw either Kerry, David, Steven...and finally Melissa! Even when I would see her later in life, she would always remember me and fill me in on the "kids." A treasure to be missed.
