Linda Mahon Hatchell DARLINGTON, SC - Linda Mahon Hatchell, 70, of Darlington died on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery. Linda "Mema" was born in Marion County. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Earlene Mahon. Linda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She retired as a hairdresser and enjoyed quilting and playing the Nintendo and Facebook. Surviving are her husband, John B. Hatchell, Sr. of the home; her daughters, Christina (Tim) Savoy of Darlington; and Shelia Owens of Darlington; her son, Clyde Owens of Darlington; her brothers, Thomas Warren Mahon of Darlington; and Dudley Siskron Mahon of Summerville; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her son, Benny Ray Spradlin; her grandson, Daniel Ramsey Gainey; her brothers, Lester Everette Mahon; Bobby Astor Mahon; Lonnie Shefford Mahon; and MgySgt Harold Ansel Mahon, USMC; her sisters, Alice Faye Mahon; and Anna Vashti Jordan.
