Not sure what to say?

Linda and I met in 2021 when she officiated at the wedding of Katherine Casale and Moira Donegan, my daughter and daughter-in-law. She kindly opened her beautiful home in New York City to our family and friends for wedding vows, cocktails and opera. She then generously hosted a celebratory dinner at a local restaurant. She was a genuinely warm and remarkable woman. The world is a sadder place without her. Sincere condolences to her family and may she rest in peace. JoAnn Casale

My heartfelt condolences to her family. As my civil procedure professor, and as moral guide and friend, she altered my life. She gave me encouragement as a gay man starting my career in the law to be myself courageously and to strive to live a virtuous life. I adored her.

I knew the Phoenix Linda, and loved our coffees and conversations. Honestly, the most articulate, wry and well -read woman I ever knew. We are all a bit less for her passing. Condolences to family and other friends.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
