Linda Mae Jacob, 54, passed away on June 25th 2013. She was born on January 23rd 1959 in Portland, Oregon, to Amos Jacob and Anna V. Jacob. She had a long history of working at the morgue and in the medical field in the earlier stages of her life. She loved to go white water rafting, crabbing, and many other outdoor sports and activities. She loved walking and spending time with her friends and family. She had a very tough but lovable personality, and for lack of a better phrase she was known as "Linda Mae Not" as in "Linda Mae Not do a mother loving thang". And if you had a problem with that she'd let you know she ain't no Cicero and would put you in the chokey. She was loved by everyone who encountered her enveloping personality whether it be good or bad, and never hesitated putting "boot to ass". Linda is survived by her four children, Shardaily L. Jacob, Atalaya V. Cruse, Shama M. Monk and Ethan N. Jeanmarie. Linda was blessed with 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Linda was the youngest of her three sisters: Phyllis Jacob, Karen A. Jacob-Barber, Shirley A. Jacob-Cox, and two brothers, Willie A. Jacob and Thomas T. Jacob. Linda will be remembered for her witty personality, beautiful smile, and generosity. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
