Not sure what to say?

I met Linda at Laval University in Quebec in the fifties and after we both graduated, lost touch and never saw each other again. She was from Louisiana and I came from Barbados. I always remembered her joie de vivre and great smile. RIP Linda. Ed Robinson, Toronto

Linda has been a dear friend of mine since I met her 10 years ago at the New Orleans Athletic Club. I can't believe she's gone as we talked about "life and sundries" just several weeks ago in our Saturday swim class. She was very happy at Delgado and, as always, exuded her "joie de vivre." Linda was an elegant, sophisticated, charming lady that just had a way about her that people loved. All of us from her aqua class are very sad that we couldn't have seen or been with her during her final...

I had not seen Linda since our college days at Hollins, except for one visit we had in Boston. She was a dear friend, and I am thrilled to read of her accomplishments in life and the admiration and love she received from her many friends and family. She was a very special person.

With sympathy,

Dear, sweet Linda,
What a beautiful person you were. I came to know you when I became a part of the extended Moore family and I instantly liked you. You were loved by all, including Edwin and myself. You will be missed tremendously. We are thinking about you Bevelann and Donna and send much love. We will be with you in spirit tomorrow.

Love,

Edwin, Caroline, Emily and Peter (Bowden)

We have countless marvelous memories of being friends with Linda for over 50 years. Our love to her family and friends. We share your sadness. Lind and Sven Schrader

My condolences to you all. Linda sure was a nice lady!

Linda and I shared a desk where we tutored at Delgado College. While visiting her in the hospital I thought -- Sleeping Beauty will wake up and we'll talk and enjoy a growing friendship. Alas, I'll miss the opportunity to spend more time with this lovely and vibrant lady. My condolences to all the family.

Linda and I swam together in a water aerobics class at the New Orleans Athletic Club for many years. She continued that class almost to the end of her life. She kept a positive attitude through many trials. We talked and laughed as we swam. She was warm and brilliant. I will miss her terribly. My sincerest regrets to her family.

My heart goes out to those who knew and loved Linda, whom I met 35+ years ago in Denver. I have many memories of time spent with my funny and always interesting friend. My condoloences to Donna, Beverly and all the family.
