Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear Mrs Mathison passed, she was one of the best teachers at Evergreen we had, always made it so much fun for us with her stories about Burt Reynolds. Class was always fun attending, If Lance collins was still her with us, He would say this was his favorite teacher!!

Absolutely my favorite teacher ever and so beautiful inside and out loved also how very stylish she dressed also!

We want to let you know that we continue to have all of you in our thoughts and prayers. We enjoyed seeing Linda whenever she came to Massachusetts to visit. We had some very nice chats at the baseball field as well as our pool. We hope you continue to find comfort in all your wonderful memories. Love to all of you!!

Brian and Mielle, my sincere condolences to you and your families. Linda and I worked together at both Poynter and Evergreen. My husband Rich and I bought tickets together with Linda and Neil for the Portland Thunder football team in the 1970s. We had a lot of great times together. Linda and I were on the same teaching team at Evergreen. She was a wonderful teacher and friend.

Although time and distance separated us, Linda´s Palm Beach High School classmates have such fond memories of a very dear alumna. We send our heartfelt condolences to her loved ones.

I can say without hesitation that, in my 21 years of schooling, Mrs. Mathison was one of my very favorite teachers. I had her for Freshman English and I was her TA for her one semester. That was enough to leave a lasting impression. A favorite memory of mine was coming back from winter break to a new seating arrangement. She left me in the back corner desk but moved three of my friends (that I wouldn't stop talking to during class) to the opposite three corners of the room and left the...

Condolences to your family for your loss. She was my 9th grade English teacher. I only have great memories of her class. She always offered a smile to those who needed it. She was so positive and made English in high school fun. I´m so thankful to have known her.

Linda was a dear companion for many years driving with us and tailgating at Duck home games as well as some away games. We will miss her this year, singing with the band and drinking her green iced tea. Rest In Peace, dear friend.

I send my sincere condolences to Linda's family. Our classrooms at Evergreen Junior High were directly across the hall from each other so I talked to her nearly every day for ten years in the 1980s. We shared stories about family, students and of course, Duke and the Ducks. She brightened up my days as she did with so many others. I feel fortunate to have known her; hers was a life well lived.
