Age 77, of Clio MI peacefully passed away March 30, 2025, with her loved ones by her side. 


Linda led a full, wonderful life, filled with love, kindness, and a deep commitment to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.


 
Linda Proudly served as a registered nurse at the V.A. Hospital in Louisville, KY for over 30 years. She was very proud, devoted, and passionate about taking care of "her" veterans.


Linda was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Lucille Keene, niece Phyllis A. Gutterman, sister Geraldine "Butchie" Maier and great-granddaughter Delaney Renee Hershberger.


Linda is survived by her daughter, Monica M. Hogan (James J.); son, Teddy J.A. McCartney (Suzanne L.) grandchildren, Taylor R. Tischendorf, Austin A McCartney (Missy), Kennedy J. Hogan, Rebecca L. McCartney, Harrison J. Hogan, TJ A. McCartney, 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.


To honor Linda's wishes there will be no service. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Veterans Affairs.

Linda's laughter was infectious & full of life. She was someone who brought a smile to every occasion. Take confort in all the wonderful memories she left us and knowing goodbye simply means until we meet again. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I'll miss you cousin.

So many wonderful memories of my Aunt Linda. She was always smiling, had a great sense of humor, and a kind heart. Love to Teddy, Monica, and their families.

Linda was in my life from the moment I started at VA. We shared lots of memories. Even though we had not talked in years, she was always in my ❤
