Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

MCCLURE, Linda – Of Flint, age 69, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at McLaren-Flint.


Private service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Rod Amon officiating.


Cremation will take place following the service.


Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.


Visitation 5- 8 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 at the funeral home.

Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on October 1, 1951, the daughter of Buford and Florence (Duprey) Anderson.


On September 27, 1975 she married Gary McClure in Flint.


Surviving are children, Sarah and husband Timothy Foster of Swartz Creek, Betsy and husband Robert Margossian of Waterford, Margaret and husband Randall Andreen of Holland, Amy and husband Christopher Simpson of Muskegon and Cathleen McClure of Rockwood;


11 grandchildren, Alex Foster, Drew Foster, Michael Margossian, Ryan Margossian, Derek and wife Jessica Andreen, Danielle Andreen, Chevonne and husband Chad Lowing, Tony and wife Adrienne Miller, Madalyn Simpson, Samantha Mendieta and Jaime Argumedo;


6 great-grandchildren;


sisters and brother, Mary Anderson of Flint, Dr. David Anderson and wife Dr. Beth Goldman of Bloomfield, Ellen and husband Robert Rettenmund of Flint.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, on January 7, 2021.

I am so very sorry to hear of Linda’s passing.. she always brightened my day with her contagious smile and stories of her family.. she loved to talk about her grandkids.. I am praying for the family during your grieving of such a great loss!

Linda,was a very sweet lady,I worked for her father at a very special little pharmacy,in the Beecher area,her and her family would come in on Saturday’s and have lunch with us all.Them were very special day’s.she always had a smile on her face,even though her hard times,I loved her and the whole family very much ,, May you Rest in Heaven, Sweetie,love Alice
