Linda Joan McDowell

I was sorry to read about Linda's passing in the latest issue of the Oregon Stater. Linda and I were classmates at OSU, took English classes together, and worked on The Barometer. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, and most sincere people I've ever known. The photograph with this story is a perfect likeness of the Linda Hilley I know in school. I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious mom. Linda was one of the 1st "new" people that I met after my divorce. Through her I became involved in a group that was working to found Irvington Farmer's Market, and have wonderful memories of the time we spent together working on that project.
