Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her during her time in East Greenwich. She became a mentor and a friend, bringing energy, innovation, insight, and humor to our mutual curriculum work. Linda was a lovely, generous, intelligent woman, and I am fortunate to have known her. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Newman was one of my favorite teachers at Cranston West. What a lovely woman. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Newman’s passing. I was in several of her art classes at Cranston West and she was one of my favorite teachers. She was so amazing at teaching, and was the reason behind many of us getting scholarships, being accepted to art schools, and just becoming better artists and better learners. Many of us have so many wonderful memories from her classes. I can still hear her giving suggestions when I draw to this day, and it was over 30 years ago. My condolences to...

I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Newman’s passing. I had her as an art teacher at Cranston West in the 80’s and considered her one of the driving forces behind my career in Art. I am still currently in art/design. I enjoyed the times we quickly ran into each other later in life at PPAC at intermissions at shows. My deepest condolences to her family. It appears she had an amazing life well lived!

Sincerely,
Scott Tetreault

I had the pleasure of working with Linda as our district curriculum leader in the East Greenwich School Department. She was a kind, intelligent, and dedicated leader. Linda’s attention to detail, coupled with her grace, made our work and time spent with her enjoyable. We often chatted about family, fashion, and gardening during our breaks. In subsequent years, we became neighbors, where we got to chat a little more. My deepest sympathies to you on the loss of this special lady. She will shine...

I am so sorry to learn about the loss of Linda. I was a new teacher who joined East Greenwich High School while Linda was a district leader. She was kind, knowledgeable, and generous. My hope is that her loving spirit lives on in each of you and that you find comfort in your memories and in one another.

With deep sympathy and sadness
