Linda L. Pretti-O'Reilly, 49, Pottsville, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 16, 2011, at home surrounded by her loved ones after a five-year battle against pancreatic cancer.

Linda... you were a bright light and your legacy lives on. I remember meeting you in Kutztown to talk about Camp Dragonfly... the memorable weekends I spent that year and the following... and the dedication of the swing and being able to share the song I write in your memory. I am truly sorry for you, your sons, your family and of course, Linda. The joy you and Linda brought to each other was evident whenever I saw the two of you. I regret not being able to pay my respects in person, but our Mom suddenly became critically ill and following our constant vigil at her side for her last two weeks, she passed away on Monday. Please know that you, your family and Linda are prominent in our prayers.
