Linda M. Relyea, 62, of Bridgeport, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday. She was a kind and loving person, who loved her family very dearly. Linda worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Kinney Drugs for 17 years, retiring in 2010. She was an active parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi for 40 years, volunteering as a Religious Education Instructor. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and Godmother.
Surviving are, her husband of 43 years, Ron Relyea Sr.; her children, Andrea (Lucretia Brown) Relyea, Rochelle (Jeffrey Iglesias) Relyea, Ronald (Karen) Relyea Jr., and Nicholas (Kirk Khan) Relyea; her parents, Rocco and Sandy Piacente Sr.; her mother-in-law, Grace Relyea; her brothers, Rocco Piacente Jr. and Daniel Muni; and her grandchildren, Justin Relyea, Maximus and Jayden Relyea, and Isaiah and Isabella Iglesias.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Francis of Assisi. Friends may call, 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Traub Funeral Home 7975 Rt. 31, Bridgeport, NY 13030.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
