Linda A. Robinson

ROBINSON, Linda A., 65, of Sandston, formerly of Matthews County, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Joyce G. Atherton; and her brothers, Dale and G.C. Linda was a 1976 graduate of Hermitage High School. She worked as an insurance underwriter for All Risks and Markel insurance companies and later in life worked as a preschool teacher for Laurel Hill United Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William "Bill" Robinson Sr.; son, William "B.J." Robinson Jr. and his wife, Vicki; daughter, Sheri Weldon; sister, Virginia Ann Olliff; brother, Woodrow Allen Atherton and his wife, Bonnie; grandsons, Taylor Wade Merica and William Austin Robinson; long time adopted sister, Reba J. Poole; aunts, Alice Brewster and her husband, George and Ruth S. Johnston; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many very close friends that are considered family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
