Not sure what to say?

Linda first came into my life as my teacher during my Masters Degree program. By far, my favorite teacher in the program as she had a calm, engaging and fun teaching style that I hadnt seen since early elementary school. Little did I know the very same week shed come to work at the administration office. She brought the same calm demeanor to leadership that made her unique yet effective. Eventually she became the best superintendent Ive ever worked for. She was the same person in a meeting as...

Innovator, Professional, Thoughtful, Inclusive, Respectful, Teacher, Learner, Traveler, Listener, Mentor, Role Model, Best Boss ever. As her Administrative Assistant during part of her tenure with Pittsburg USD, it was apparent from the first day Linda walked into the Educational Services office she came with a vision and purpose like no other administrator I had worked with. By the end of her first day, I knew that PUSD was in for some powerful and positive changes. What I didn't realize...

Linda interviewed me 35 years ago when I joined Mt Diablo Unified where she played such an important role to educators at all levels. Again, after I left the District after fifteen years, I was able to work with Linda in Pittsburg. She was loved and revered by all who crossed her path because she was professional, fair, and dedicated to the students and families under her care. This is a huge loss of a great woman. Im very sad to hear of her passing. May she Rest In Peace. My sincere...

Linda was my boss beginning in 92. Her absolute professionalism was an inspiration. I learned that if you ask Linda a question, she will have an answer that considers the students affected, the current perspective of the experts, the local impact, and the practical application. She more than likely would tease the answer out of you through questions. I have never met anyone more deserving of respect than Linda.
I am deeply saddened by her passing.

My heart is broken. Linda was a wise and caring boss, mentor, and friend. My career benefited from the opportunities, guidance, and support she provided me. She had such a positive impact on all of us who had the good fortune of working with her. I'm so grateful to have known her.

My heart aches for Abe and her family. I hope that our love for Linda gives them comfort and strength at this time.

Thank you for your beautiful smile for all of the students and staff at PUSD. We will always remember your kindness to all.

Linda was one of the best superintendent's we had she always came by to see me at the high school when she was on site. Always a kind word a very caring woman. She will be missed. God bless her family.

Linda you are an Angel. God needed you to help him up there. We will always miss you.
Abe and family we are with you at this time. May our Lord bring you comfort.
