Not sure what to say?

Today I honor Linda, my cousin, who loved life, her family, and her work. Her brother John passed away in her home while she was at work one day and she grieved for the rest of her life. She is missed. Lynn Hunter Griley

It is hard for me to believe that cousin Linda died over three years ago. She had a great sense of humor and surprised me often with news that was interesting, fun, and sometimes out of character. I miss her. Cousin Lynn Hunter Griley

I would like to thank all of Linda’s friends and co workers who wrote about how much they loved and respected her. Cousin Lynn Hunter Griley

I will miss my cousin Linda terribly. She kept in touch for decades after she began working at the Williamsburg Foundation. She loved her work. Her father, Nathan Hunter, and my father, Don Hunter, were first cousins. We grew up in Columbus, Georgia and attended Columbus High School. I have lived in Atlanta since right after college. I am sorry that as a heart patient I could not travel to her funeral.

I always knew I could get the primary resources for my medical history research and the answers to all of my questions from Linda. She was so helpful, generous and supportive of my research. I always enjoyed her training classes and chatting with her in the Rockefeller Library. My heart is sad at Linda's sudden passing but I am grateful and blessed to have known her. Godspeed, Linda and thank you!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Thank you, Miss Linda for all of the knowledge you shared with me. Your kindness towards me will always be remembered. I enjoyed being in your classes during training and you always left me feeling very confident about sharing the material to our guests. Even when I didn’t understand something, you always found a way to share the knowledge without making me feel inadequate. I cried the day when you retired; I cried the day I saw you in Food Lion; and I cry today as I reflect upon your...
