A Social Shopper
She had a zest for living. She worked hard, worked out hard, but when she had fun, she had fun. That was Linda Sheehan.

Ms. Sheehan, 40, a vice president at Sandler O'Neill & Partners, lived in Manhattan with her two cats, Sparky and Tamara. Her hobby of choice was shopping. But it was not just shopping for shopping's sake, or shopping for sport, but also shopping as social event. She would do it every Saturday, all day, with two of her closest friends, Vivian Urrutia and Gregory Orenstein.

Her favorite store was probably Bergdorf's. She favored Jeffrey for shoes, and she was a regular at the flea market on 26th Street, where she hunted for antiques for her apartment. She had a particular weakness for boots, and her rule with shoes was, the higher the heel, the better.

Not sure what to say?

I don't know Linda, I was only 5 when 9-11 happened, but I read stories and obituaries about her and she seemed like a fantastic person. I have never done this but she reminds me so much of myself (by shocking similarities) and I feel so horribly her life was cut short that I felt the urge to write a memorial condolence. 24 years later, you are not forgotten and never will be. I am so sorry to hr friends, and family. I know she is in a better place with her two loving cats now by her side.

Hi, I'm Emily and I might not have known Linda but her memory will forever be in our hearts. I am helping Freya research her for our 6th grade ELA project! Rest in peace❤

I'm researching her for a 6th grade ELA project in memory of 9/11. Rest in peace Linda

22 years and it still seems like yesterday! Thanks for being my friend, Linda, you were so very special! So many memories from high school and beyond! Driving around in your Mom’s Gran Torino was always a blast. I’ll never forget those times or you, Linda! Rest easy in paradise!❤✝

Remembered. May those who knew and loved you find peace in memories of the happiness your life provided.
