Linda L. Shoup, 73, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Pocono Medical Center, after a 34 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the wife of Donald E. Shoup, together they would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on February 14th. Born in Easton, February 19,1942, she was the daughter of Ruth (Kirchoffer) Fegley of Pen Argyl and the late Lee Fegley. Linda was last employed in the cafeteria at Pen Argyl High School, prior to that she was a telephone operator in Easton. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pen Argyl, a former member of the Pen Argyl Band Boosters and was 1a 1960 graduate of Easton High School. In addition to her husband, Donald and her mother Ruth, she is survived by a son Scott D. Shoup and his wife Heather N. of Bushkill Township, and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Cassidy. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 1 PM at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl. There will be a viewing Tuesday beginning at noon until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, 30 S. 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
