In 1976, Linda and I traveled through England, Europe, and Scandinavia for a total of six weeks. We visited Lois and Mike Yelland in England and traveled an itinerary that fellow teacher Pam Bousquet helped us plan. Linda was an adventurous travel partner and was always up for whatever new experience awaited. She always spoke highly of her sports teams players and truly enjoyed nurturing them. RIP, Linda.

I remember Linda as always having a smile. Sincere condolences to all the family.

Coach Stegner has been and will always be a friend who had a profound impact in my life. Coach Stegner was not only a great basketball coach but a wonderful person who cared deeply for her players. I was on the varsity girls basketball teams my freshman and sophmore years (1973-76), my junior year I did not play because I was pregnant. Coach Stegner was one of the best individuals I have ever met. She was my coach at Greenon from 1974-1976. We were undefeated for those 3 years. We had talent, however we were nothing without coach. Coach taught us teamwork and how to work hard. She was all about sportsmanship. I learned a lot from Coach that I still carry with me today. Coach was such a caring individual who cared more about everyone else than herself. I had moved away from Enon. I came back nine years ago and...
