Former Flemington resident Linda Fay Stout was born on July 28, 1945 in Trenton NJ to Mr. Charles "Pete" Allen Coates and his wife Mrs. Ruth Mildred (Kugler) Coates. She grew up on Mine street in Flemington. She always knew she wanted to be a nurse and after graduating from Hunterdon Central High...

Not sure what to say?

Remembering Fay as a wonderful tap dancer in her younger years in Flemington. She was the best tap dancer in the area. She was so pretty, always a smile, and very friendly to all. I had a crush on her, but I was a year younger than she, so I never pursued it. What a lovely lady!. Rest in heavenly peace (Linda) Fay....You were someone very special to me.

I just put out a few spring flowers. As I was making choices, I picked up a couple of Knock Out Roses, mostly because I recall Fay praising how well her Knock Out Roses did each year with accompanying photos on Flickr. The roses look great in pots in my back yard. Thank you, Fay.

Missing Fay, missing her smile, her sense of humor, her joy for life & her laughter! I miss her photos of the little anole in her garden, of her flowers and how she loved the sunshine. Sending love & hugs to her family....grief is tricky as it comes back often when you least expect it.

We miss you, Fay and your fun sense of humor......and your sweet birthday greetings with your special photography. Love to your beautiful family - I know their hearts ache to have just one more hug from you. Love, Lee

I still miss Fay's Flickr presence and think of her much more often than one might expect, since I only encountered her in person twice at meetings of the Rowlett Camera Club. The first meeting resulted in our following each other on Flickr. She was a wonderful lady and so full of live. I still find it hard to believe that she is gone. I can't even imagine how much her family must miss Fay.

Linda Fay's photos still pop up in my Flickr feed, reminding me how much I miss our exchanges on our photos. She was a special person, taken away much too soon.

I often think of Fay and how she would have loved to be out photographing the bluebonnets and birds this Spring. She would be watching for the anole in her garden and showering love & treats on her dog. Maybe she would have found a new bumper sticker to add to the collection on her car! We miss you, Fay, and send loving & strength to your beautiful family.

We first met Fay and Dick when we were moving to Flemington in the summer of 1975. We were looking for a house to rent. I had a job offer as a teacher in Hunterdon Central. My wife called Fay and she said that we could meet Dick at the house the next day. We agreed to the offer and lived in that house on Mine street for 11 years. Fond memories of that house - fond memories of meeting with Dick and Fay over the years Our condolences to the Stout family. It was a Blessing knowing both Fay and...

What a pleasure it was to work beside such a wonderful nurse and friend. Mrs. Fay always showed patients kindness and was always up for a good laugh. My heart is truly saddened to learn of her passing. (ICU Lakepointe Medical Center coworker)
