Not sure what to say?

Many people can recall one or two teachers from their time in elementary school that stand out as truly motivational. I have several teachers that come to mind and Mrs. Swift was one of them. Homeroom 4-A at St. Louis School brings back many memories of a fine teacher and neighbor on Lynbar. I will always remember my visits down the street when I was on my bike or walking my dog. May many happy memories comfort you and your family during this difficult time.

Our family is saddened by the loss of Mrs. Swift. She was a wonderful person, teacher, always had something good to say about the kids. I was on of the room mothers, when my son was in her class, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and her class.

Our family has many wonderful memories of Linda as a friend, who was also a great Lynbar Ave. neighbor. She always loved working on making the outside of her home as lovely as the inside. She was, indeed, a terrific teacher friend as well. I watched her make so many contributions to the students of St. Louis School. I remember that she was always reading a "chapter book" to her class after lunch...almost a forgotten event in today's classrooms.
Our entire family sends love and prayers to...

Mrs. Swift was a wonderful teacher and truly instilled a love of books in her students. The best part of the day was when she would read aloud to us, making characters and stories come alive. I have many fond memories of her. I hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives she impacted.

Kay, Kyle and Cindy: my heart grieves with you as we say good-by to Linda. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend, and she will be missed. Although I moved several years ago, we continued to stay in touch. We shared many evenings in her backyard or mine. Linda was a sister in Christ and truly lived a Godly life. She moved to Heaven Sunday and is awating a reunion with you one day. May God bless you with the sunshine of His love during these difficult days.

Kyle,Cindy and Kay,
Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.
Your friends at the Church Health Center, Memphis.
