    Mrs. Linda Lee Joyner Tripp, age 77, a resident of Hoff Lane, Belhaven, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.


   Services will be held later.


    Mrs. Tripp was born in Pitt County on September 17, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Willis Lee Joyner and Fannie Louise Shackleford Joyner.  Mrs. Tripp was a homemaker.  She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.  In her spare time, Mrs. Tripp enjoyed fishing, working in her garden and spending time with her family.


    Mrs. Tripp is survived by two sons, Ricky Donnell Tripp and wife, Cathy of Preston, MD, Tony Renee Tripp of Belhaven; brother, Willis Joyner, Jr. and wife, JoAnn of Pantego; sister, Sallie Joyner and husband, Jerry of Pantego; three grandchildren, Natalie Nicole Melchoir, Scarlet Tripp, Ricky David Tripp and two great grandchildren, Miah and Lucas.


    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tripp was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Lynn Tripp, sister, Alma Holloman and brother, Donald Ray Joyner.
