Thank you for taking me in as a student, and launching my aikido career. I have tried to maintain your basic foundations taught by you and demonstrate them. I appreciate being your last first Dan Black belt promoted by you. There is a part of you inside of me.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I studied under Sensei Vecchio in the early Eighties. While she was very disciplined, her compassion taught me valuable lessons that I cary to this day. She taught me that being last is an honor, not a disgrace, as our society may deem it now. She understood the value of humility, and showed how to live, and love, the way life should be lived. I pray she is in glory now, where she so fervently pointed her followers. I am blessed to have crossed her path. My sincere condolences to her...
