To the family of Linda, I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, but always heard good things about her. Her mother, Phyllis Gertz, went to First Christian Church, downtown Athens, GA and is a fine lady and so was her husband. My parents, Clarence & Hilda Lavender attended that church and so did I. Miss her, but let her go. God only takes the best. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy is with all. In Him, Jan Hughes

I remember the days when I would go over to her house after school and she was always the nicest woman. She will missed by so many. And my thoughts are with her two daughters, who were special to me during my High School years.
