Linda Watts Obituary

LINDA L. WATTS, 57 ROCKFORD - Linda L. Watts, 57, of Rockford passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, at home. Born April 15, 1954, in Belvidere, the daughter of Wesley William Goodall and Rose Marie Peterson. Married Harry A. Watts Sr. on Aug. 10, 1979. Linda enjoyed writing and collecting poems, collecting statues of angels and researching about astrology. Linda leaves to cherish many memories for her children. Survivors include husband, Harry; children, Jamie (Joe) Watts of Rockford, Brett (Daniele) Watts of Alabama, Pam (Ron) Lowder of Rockford, Harry A. (Kristine) Watts Jr. of Alabama and Deanna (Billy) Rowland of Rockford; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lila (Phil) Morris of Kirkland and Barb Schliefer of Janesville, Wis.; brothers, Greg Goodall of Belvidere and Terry Ponder of Elkhorn, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews. Service at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, with visitation from 1:30 p.m. to time of service. Cremation rites will be accorded.
