April 1, 2017, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Eden, NY, age 70, mother of Dr. Gretchen Anne Wigand (Dr. Jefferson) Newbern IV); daughter of the late James and Beatrice (Knoll) Scheetz; sister of Joan (Scheetz) Steverson and Gary N. (Donna) Scheetz; grand-fur mother of Winnie; also survived by nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, June 10 from 9-10:30 AM at the WENTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 10634 Main St., (Route 62), North Collins, NY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM from the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Langford, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society.
