Not sure what to say?

I knew Linda from Provincetown. We were two searching and fearless souls, then. I see that she continued to be fearless despite her burdens. I hope she felt her accomplishments. I hope she felt that God had chosen her to carry these burdens because she was strong, and special, and as an example to all of us how life is still a gift, every day. I am saddened and jolted by her death. I pray she is truly happy now.

Linda, I remember the summer we became good friends. Sun bathing at Chocorua Lake, your poetry, spur of the moment day trips to the ocean. Letters from Europe. Your wit and candid comments - laughing, crying, being able to talk about anything and everything; confidences kept. A birthday dinner I will never forget - making the perfect pina colada! We seemed to bring out the silly, sassy, daring, fun loving side of each other. Through marriages and moving we lost touch. But I will always...

My thoughts and prayers are with Linda's brothers and sister. She will always be remembered by my family and her friends in Chocorua.

Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently,...

Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. A precious gift of Tamworth she was. May you all find comfort in the love each of you have for her and each other.

Heartfelt sympathies for Linda's family. It's terribly rough at this time of the year. Bless you.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Linda? One of a kind? Sheesh. She was the best. Yes, she had a low tolerance threshold, but that came out when she witnessed injustice or meanness.
She let me read a couple of her books; including an exceptional mystery. She could connect with her poetic spirit that at times rose above worldly matters.
God, I'm going to miss her!

Although we did not know Linda personally, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to her family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
