I waited to send this as I´m sure you are all completely overwhelmed and exhausted. I didn´t know Lindsay very well but what I do know is that he was a hard working good man who loved his family very much. I also know he was very proud of his daughters. It´s very hard to watch someone you love suffer. If there is anything I can do or if you need to talk I´m always available. I know Lindsay would want you all to be happy and carry on for him. Love you all so much. Sincerely, Deb Kenny

I didn't know Lindsay all that well. Less than a year. What I do know is if it was not for Lindsay, I would not have had the opportunity to become a member of the Solivita Swing Band. Lindsay made that possible, and I am forever grateful to him. I feel he was our vocal section's biggest supporter. We will miss him. Bruce Coviello and Michele Grand

Lindsay was a great person. Without him I would have no business today. He was always super nice and help me with every detail. I talk with him early this year. He will truly be missed. John and Wilma Cyfers (MusicShop-More)

I knew this day was coming ever since I received a message and talked to Lindsay right after I put a short post on Facebook about my cancer disagnosis in August. Lindsay said "hey buddy, I think we are going to fight cancer together. That was the last time I talked with him as I knew that talking must have been painful to him given what he had already been through. I would have to say that Lindsay was my best (and longest ) friend. He was born six days after me in Detroit and I would...

Mr. Chalmers was a great man. He was my Jazz Band director at Garber High School, teaching me many musical tips and little life lessons I still call back to. I also mowed his lawn and his parents' lawn for a number of years, where his whole family treated me so kindly and with so much dignity and respect for me just being a high schooler. Melissa, Courtney, and Mrs. Chalmers, you are in my thoughts. I hope you know how much Mr. Lindsay meant to me. Rest in Peace Mr. Chalmers. Play your...

Julie, Melissa and Courtney - I am so very sad to learn of your loss. It was my honor to know Lindsay and work with him for the Garber Jazz Express. He taught me enough that I could step into his place as director for another three years when he moved on to other volunteer opportunities. (Of course, I also enjoyed accompanying Melissa and Courtney on flute and alto sax.) Night Society Orchestra is another musical memory - so much fun for this listener. Prayers for comfort and peace.
