I am so sad to hear of Lindsay's passing. I was her summer apprentice in Chicago 14 years ago, while I was still in college at KU. She taught me a lot about beadwork, knitting, and most importantly was candid about life as an artist - teaching me about grant writing, teaching, and gallery submissions. Her work was beautiful and essence of resiliency, much like herself. I will miss her, but it gives me comfort that her work will live on.
