SMITH, Lindsay Gordon. 20.9.1952 - 24.5.2013 Passed away in the presence of family at the RHH after a determined battle. Adored husband of Kathleen, loving son of Gordon (dec) and Dorothy. Much loved father of Natalie, Adam and Jarrod and their partners Michael, Zoe and Caitlyn. Pop of Kaitlyn, Bailey, Maddison and Jack. Big brother to Maureen, Diane (dec), David, Carol and Helen, mates with their partners Chris, Bruce, John and Tony. A life well lived. You were my love and best friend for 39 years - a great husband, dad and pop. You have left our family with many wonderful memories. Thanks for choosing me. Love you always, Kathy. You've earned your place in Heaven Dad, after all that you've been through. Peacefully sleeping now out of pain, I would not wake you to suffer again. Thank you for the special time you gave us over the last two months. Michael will miss his special times out fishing with you. Loved always pal. Natalie, Michael, Kaitlyn, Bailey and Maddie. Much loved, admired dad and pop. A true role model, an inspiration and a trustworthy best friend. You will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
