SMITH, Lindsay Gordon. 20.9.1952 - 24.5.2013 Passed away in the presence of family at the RHH after a determined battle. Adored husband of Kathleen, loving son of Gordon (dec) and Dorothy. Much loved father of Natalie, Adam and Jarrod and their partners Michael, Zoe and Caitlyn. Pop of Kaitlyn, Bailey, Maddison and Jack. Big brother to Maureen, Diane (dec), David, Carol and Helen, mates with their partners Chris, Bruce, John and Tony. A life well lived. You were my love and best friend for 39 years - a great husband, dad and pop. You have left our family with many wonderful memories. Thanks for choosing me. Love you always, Kathy. You've earned your place in Heaven Dad, after all that you've been through. Peacefully sleeping now out of pain, I would not wake you to suffer again. Thank you for the special time you gave us over the last two months. Michael will miss his special times out fishing with you. Loved always pal. Natalie, Michael, Kaitlyn, Bailey and Maddie. Much loved, admired dad and pop. A true role model, an inspiration and a trustworthy best friend. You will be sorely missed and never forgotten. Our memories of you will always be full of good times, joy and pride. Love you always and forever. Adam, Zoe and Jack. Dad thank you so much - You showed me the ropes of life and now it's time for me to tie my own knots. You will be missed, - Jarrod. Sweet is the sleep that ends all pain. Rest peacefully my precious son. You will be forever loved and missed. - Your loving Mum. Thanks to the Drs at RHH but especially the wonderful caring staff on the OPU who made his time there an enriching experience.
