Mr. Linly Lawrence Rarick, of Valatie, New York, born on April 18, 1949 in Troy, New York, to the late Audrey J. Rarick(Ashley) and the late Lawrence E. Rarick SR., passed away at age 69 on March 21, 2019 in Hudson, New York. From 1966 to 1969, Linly served in the Navy in the Vietnam War. Linly was the beloved husband of Sandra Rarick. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Rarick JR.. Linly is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Rarick; sisters, Suzanne Gaylord, Regina Winnicki, Elizabeth Chowenhill, and Audrey Hoague; and grandchild, Chelcie Simmons. Friends and family can pay their respects at the celebration of life service, officiated by Stephanie Rarick, on Thursday, April 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at East Greenbush Fire Dept., 68 Phillips RD, Rensselaer, New York, 12144.

May you rest in peace...you were one hell of a man, father, husband, son, and a Vietnam veteran. Thank you for your service in the Navy. I remember some stories. I am glad to have grown up with you, Sandy, and Steph, in my life. May they be showered with blessing from God and get Thur these gard times of loss...see you in the future...we all will be reunited again some day

Sorry about the passing of Lin. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed. He had a way of making people laugh and smile. he had a great smile even throughout his illness.we will miss him. Thoughts and prayers go out to you all. We love you Sandy and Stephanie.
