Dear ABBY, I dont know if you remember me , but we worked together at Union Commerce Bank way back in the mid 70's. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your DAD. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.
Your DAD was a great icon for all of us growing up in the 60's. I know you will miss him dearly.

Our world is surely emptier and sadder with Mr. Sheldon's passing. I was fortunate enough to be able to locate his theme music a couple of months ago and having that will keep his, and many other, memories alive in our hearts.

Please accept our most sincere condolences and deepest sympathy...and please know that he made our lives so much brighter and happier just by being part of them in the way he was.

In our hearts, he'll always be saying...

Perry,
What can I say. I was heartbroken to hear of your dad passing. However this is a reality we all must face as we get older. The memories although will last forever. Over the years I have had the great pleasure of sharing the experiences (and antics) of our youth together with my children, and have thought of you often. Be assured my prayers are with you my old friend. Please feel free to contact me phone no. is still the same. Kenny

Prime among those are the television visits with Barnaby. In that whimsical guise, Linn Sheldon communicated warmth and friendship to countless Cleveland youngsters as well as instilling important values at a formative age. He was far more than a cartoon show host. In fact, in those early days of television, he demonstrated an uncanny talent to...

I had the honor of meeting him at a eastside bookstore back 1999. We had both showed up hours earlier than the scheduled time of his appearance. It was just me & Barnaby & his wife Laura. He told me stories for about an hour...JUST ME !!! I wanted to crawl onto his lap and I was in my 40's. I'll treasure the memory greatly

Dear Abby and Perry:

Karen, John and I often think of our time growing up on Appleton Drive and the wonderful times we all spent together. Abby - you were our favorite baby sitter - and Perry, do you remember how many games of Clue and Battleship we played?? Your dad was always so kind to all of us and especially Johnny. He took him everywhere with Perry. We think of you all often and hope you are all doing well with your families. God Bless all of you.
