Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Linola Jean Tullock (née Norman),

(May 9, 1947- January 20, 2026)

Tullock, Linola Jean (née Norman), passed away in Chesterfield, Missouri, at St. Luke’s Hospital on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, on May 9, 1947, Jean was the eldest child of the late Billy and Ann Norman. A proud 1965 graduate of Ritenour High School, she went on to a career, working for several years at McDonnell Aircraft and later at Monarch Marking.

She found great joy in country music, playing her guitar, and the peace of a good book. She enjoyed going on vacations to the beach. Above all, she cherished the time spent in the company of her family and friends.

Jean was truly one-of-a-kind. Strong-willed, sassy, and spirited, she loved in her own unique way and had a spark that could not be ignored. Her personality filled every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who crossed her path. Her humor and unforgettable presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Michelle L. Smith; her sister, Judy (Bob) Richter; two grandchildren, Nichole A. Smith and Jacob M. Kirkpatrick; one great-grandchild, James M. Smith-Dwyer; and fiancé, James Corbett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Ann Norman; her brother, Jerrel W. Norman; and her beloved son, Michael J. Kirkpatrick.

Though she has passed, Jean’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the many vibrant moments she shared with us.
