I remember my brother teaching me to slow dance by allowing his much younger sister to place his feet upon his and dance to Everly Brothers' records on the cabbage-rose design linoleum in their mother's front room. That was my brother.

Lionel and I were graduate students together at USM, in fact we share our office/lab. Upon completing our Master's degree, we went different ways and I have always wanted to reconnect. I am sorry that I was too late. During our USM days, Lionel and I was friends and I will always remember those years. God Bless him.

I worked for Dr. Eleuterius for 8 years at the GCRL's Botany Section. I remember my interview. I was also from Biloxi and I was refered to him by his mother. She remembered an incident 8 yrs before where her daughters lost wallet was returned intact by some guy named Mike Arguelles. He wanted me to start that day. I learned alot from Dr. Eleuterius and greatly enjoyed my work there as a research assistant, especially our field trips in the boat from state line to state line. He also taught...

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Dr. Eleuterius. He made many significant contributions to marine botany and to the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory. In the Gunter Library, we use his marsh grass book and other publications quite often.
