Not sure what to say?

Dr. Lackey was my professor, my friend and my advisor. He was a special man with special talents. He found a way to deal with a complex world that made him special. An artist with his comics as a child, his love of Opera and his passion for literature, music and the piano made him a wonderful creature of God. Rest in peace my friend.

Multi-talented scholar and gifted teacher who loved the Lord and & GOD'S CHURCH @ Bethany,JAS.IS..Always remember our friendship, long phone calls and your advice in my writings. REST IN PEACE FRIEND.Ken Malchiodi

Really enjoyed getting to meet Dr. Lackey on a couple of occasions. He had a great love of music. Thank you to his family for his service on behalf of the faculty of the Horton School of Music at Charleston Southern. Peace to you all at this time.

Dr. Lackey was a brilliant scholar and a gifted teacher. I am indebted to him for introducing me to the universe of great literature and inviting me to engage deeper and deeper into the written word. He was a generous, kind example. BCC '77

I had Dr. Lackey for literature class at BCC, now CSU. Dr. Lackey was a Christian gentle man who was passionate about literature. Blessings and comfort on friends and family.

Dr Lackey made a distinct and lasting impression on me. I'm a class of '77 graduate of the Baptist College at Charleston and am thankful he was part of my college experience.
