Not sure what to say?

May Gods presence ease your sorrows ----I worked with "Butch" in the 70's @ Chrysler Perrysburg and he was a "jovial character" ,fun to be with & made the day go by ! The stories I could tell
Also you would see him make extra money repairing shoes (next to old firehouse)in Point Place ,a trade he picked up @ Tidtkes during his youth--He loved his kids, Buffy & Greg,I sold him the blue Pontiac for his sons 1st car. May God Bless Him, We are all going to miss him !!

My prayers and deepest sympthay go to Butch's family. I was the drummer with the original Orbits when we first formed the group before they became Johnny & The Hurricanes. We had a great time playing all the ballrooms and teen towns in and around Toledo, and then later when I joined the group again to make the first east coast tour. That took us to New York, the American Bandstand and we cut the first album. Great memories of a great friend and musician.

Butch and I were neighbors for 5 years and we had some good times. As long as there's music his name will be in my heart forever.

I myself never knew you Butch, but my dad was a good friend of yours as a teenager and me and your daughter * Buffy * went to high school together and also became good friends. I wish the family well in dealing with the great loss they just had, keep the love alive, you'll never forget the memories they live on FOREVER!. my deepest sympothy to all.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Butch. Living in Seattle for the past 21 years I did not get to know him that well, but in one of my recent visits I got to see him. He was the last of my Dad's (Rusty) family I had left and I was glad I got to see him and talk. Please if someone in the family would like to contact me I would love it. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

Butch and i had some good times growing up in the old north end.BUTCH you spin some tires up where you are now. An someday i'll see you on the other side.

My best to Butch's family and friends. I joined the Hurricanes in 1973, and heard all the stories about "Butch" and the guys so many years back. Now its a shame I did not get the chance to speak with him personally. At least now, Lionel and Johnny are playing together again. God may he rest in Peace. Duane Thomas, Ld Guitar, Johnny and the Hurricanes 1973

Although I can't say I knew Butch well, I can say he left me with some fond memories of his days performing with Johnny and the Hurricanes. Another memory is when Butch helped his brother Rusty and I prepare for a Beatles skit we did at Riverside Park Teen Town complete with cutout guitars and Beatles wigs.

My sincere condolences to all the family.

Jeff Braden

I want to send my deepest sympathies and condolences to "Butches" family. I met Butch only about three times in my life, but my husband John Pocisk/Johnny Paris talked with fondness about his Rossford High School years, the Orbits and the early years of Johnny and the Hurricanes. In one year the second member of this Rossford High School band went to heaven, it is almost unbelievable, but I am sure my husband gave him a warm welcome on the other side. Butch is gone, but love does not die. I...
