Read MoreI first met “Oak”, when I started at The Ledger in 1985. He took me under his wing, to teach me everything about being a Pressman. It worked too, as I just retired after 38 years.
Oak was more than just a co-worker to mehe was my friend. We got out of touch when he left, but he was always someone I thought greatly of. I regret not looking for him sooner.

I first met Lionel in 1966 When I went to work in the Orlando Sentinel pressroom. Lionel was a pressman there at the time. He was instrumental in helping me learn a lot about the trade and was always a good friend. In a few years he moved on to other places and I would run into him every once in awhile.It was always a pleasure to be in his company when we would meet. RIP Old Friend
