Not sure what to say?

I met Lee in the late 80's and became a close personal friend. He is one person that I will always aspire to emulate. He was kind, humble and always thought of others more than himself. His passing is a loss to all of us.

Lionel Rombach also supported two wonderful scholarship programs at Arizona State University, one for a justice studies major and one for a recreation major. We are sorry to learn of his passing and grateful for his support of scholarships for ASU students. His is truly a life well-lived and a fine example for us to follow. He will be missed. Jill DeMichele, Dir. Scholarship Development at ASU

I offer my sincere condolance, I am a recent recipient of the Rombach Religious Studies Scholarship at the University of Arizona . With Memory, Sincerely: Robert Kassmann

He left a wonderful legacy. We are all grateful for his generosity and caring.

My appreciation goes out to Lionel E. Rombach for all he contributed to the School of Art through his student gallery. I remember talking with him several times at exhibition openings and always enjoyed his enthusiasm and smiling face. His legacy will always be visible to art students and their audience through the exhibitions made possible through his namesake gallery.

"Lee" was a wonderful gentleman. We were fortunate to have him as an honorary member of the Art Advisory Board for the School of Art at the University of Arizona. He made every meeting he attended special.

His generosity is helping me support myself through my final year at U of A. I wish I'd had a chance to express my appreciation.

Mr. Rombach was a dear man with a kind soul. His selflessness, dedication to students, and love of education will be remembered by all who knew him. I am fortunate to have met him.

I had the pleasure of working with Lee at the probation department. He was a gentle soul.
