Lisa Marie Bennett, age 52, of Circleville, WV, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. She was born on March 21, 1969, in Welch, WV, the daughter of the late Ida (Pruitt) and Joseph Trevorlee “Pete” Stumbo. On March 23, 1991, Lisa married her husband of 31 years, Todd Lane Bennett, who survives in Circleville.


 


Lisa attended Iaeger High School and was a 1987 graduate of Circleville High School. She was a member of the Cherry Grove Baptist Church and had worked at Highland Data in Blue Grass, VA and Franklin, WV for 15 years.


 


In addition to her husband, Lisa is survived by: a son, Michael Bennett (Joy) of Franklin, WV; 5 sisters, Patricia Ann Hess of Jola, WV, Carolyn Kid (Tom) of Iager, WV, Shelby Jean Roberson (Terry) of Franklin, WV, Lema Louise Warner (Darrell) of Circleville, WV, Lena Louise Stumbo (Bobby Bennett) of Circleville, WV; 2 brothers, Joe T. Stumbo, Jr. (Jacquie) of Franklin, WV, Joe Don “JD” Stumbo (Brittnay Simmons) of Franklin, WV; 4 grandchildren, Paigelyn, Chase, Ashlyn, and Brody; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl (3-15-2007).


 


Lisa's family will have a private family service, with Pastor Theodore Bennett officiating. In honoring her wishes, her body will be cremated, with a memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Pendleton County Relay for Life, 4540 Cooper Road, Blue Ash, OH  45242. So sorry to hear of Lisa's passing she was a dear friend and co-worker and I always loved bumping into her at the post office and chatting with her. She always had a smile on her face no matter how she was feeling. God certainly got a good angel when she was received in heaven. My prayers go out to the family
