Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Lisa Faye Berard Roberts, 57, who passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until 1:30 pm.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday.
Rev. Neil Pettit will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Nicole Breaux and Hailey Angelle. Gift bearers will be Chris Angelle, Cathy Veillon, and Ann Lowrey.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
She is survived by her daughters, Carly Duplechin and husband Brock of Cecilia and SSG Hillary Roberts and wife SSG Asia Hopper of Harlem, GA; her mother, Annette Champagne Berard of Cecilia; her brothers, Clifford Berard and wife Renella of Breaux Bridge and Randall Berard of Cecilia; her sisters, Chris Angelle and husband Eddie of Cecilia and Cathy Veillon and husband Randal of Broussard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip "T-Sue" Roberts; and her father, John Claude Berard.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Berard, Randall Berard, Brock Duplechin, Randal Veillon, Dr. Michael Berard, and Eddie Angelle.
Honorary pallbearers will be SSG Asia Hopper and Sean Garrett.
