Proctor Funeral Home - Camden Obituary

Lisa LaDawn Bevill, 63, passed away August 16, 2025. She was born June 08, 1962, to Joe and Maydean James Harrison in Camden, AR. Lisa had a green thumb. She enjoyed plants, planting and growing. She loved growing crepe myrtles, elephant ears, and purple tulips. Lisa enjoyed watching them grow and bloom. She loved being at Mena where she planned on retiring with her husband, Kenny. She would watch the geese fly in and land in her pond and loved feeding her ducks. Most of all Lisa loved bringing the family together weekly for a family game night, Skip-Bo and Phase 10 were her favorites. Just like her mother, Maydean, Lisa loved having a house full of family and friends. She also enjoyed DIY house projects/ property renovations and restoring the natural look of the land. Lisa loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Greg Harrison and his wife Cindy; and a nephew, Myles Newton Scott Harrison.

Lisa is survived by her husband Kenneth Bevill of East Camden, AR; four sons, Eric Harrison and his wife, Amanda of Tatum, TX, Jonathan Bevill of East Camden, AR, Zachary Pennington and his wife, Nikki of Camden, AR, and Matthew Santifer and his wife, Emmylou Lampkin of Camden, AR; her daughter, Marissa Thorn and her husband, Brandon of Broomfield, CO; brother, Stanley Harrison and his wife, Sarah of Locust Bayou, AR; two nieces, Amber and Ashley; grandchildren, Kayden, Brooke, and Ahnya; and a host of family and friends.

Her funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Proctor Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00AM with interment at Lakeside Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
