I knew of her personally not too strongly because of different subject matters being taught by us but I always heard very positive things from other teachers who were in Special Education also or just knew of her better. Reading Lisa's volunteering and activism in the Catholic Church in Bayonne is very impressive. Pax Christi ! Vivat Jesus !

My deepest condolences to the Gallo family. Lisa and Steve were a great team. They deeply loved each other and their family. Lisa put everything she had into whatever she was doing. I knew her from her Bayonne endeavors as well as from the Girl Scouts. I always admired the fact that she would fight for what she thought was right and not sit back. It was my honor to have known her.
