Hardly a week goes by in which I am not reminded of Lisa. Last week, visiting family, I was in an enchanting garden and thought how much she would enjoy it. My longing for her presence is still palpable. it must be so hard for her family. with love, rebecca

i continue to think of lisa very often. especially as the gardens come to life. the twinkle in her eyes, the delicacy of her being, the sharp wit and intelligence, the multiple talents and the kindest friendship. she left us much too soon and i miss her terribly.

The more time passes, the more we realize what a rare person Lisa was. She loved gardens, and designed and nurtured themso Spring and Summer are her seasons. And she was a poet and a shy but immensely talented musician. So many sweet memories of sitting in her garden and listening to her play that glorious piano which took up most of the living room! In this time of enforced solitude for all of us the memory of her steadfast friendship sustains. I hope she knows how much she is still missed.

Dear Gordon and Family,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Lisa and I were housemates at Brown one summer, in Milhous, where her presence helped to make the normally enjoyable atmosphere absolutely wonderful. I had tried numerous times, through the years, to obtain her contact info, but never succeeded. Just now, upon reading an article about Mallorca, I decided to try saying hello once again.
Knowing her merely as a college friend for a year or so engraved her in...

To Gordon, Nick and Ned,
You know how much we loved Lisa. She was the first real friend I made after moving here from New York. I will always remember the day in Volta Park when I asked the nice man with the Golden Retriever about the red knitted vest his son had on...that question and the answer led to an enduring friendship with the incomparable Lisa, and all of you.
Thank you for making the the Memorial service as perfect and comforting as it was..
