Forever my loving mother. Forever my best friend. I never thought you'd be gone so soon. You were the most amazing mother I could've ever had. After looking through old pictures I look just like you. Thank you for giving me an amazing life mom. I love you and miss you.

When I was a little girl, Uncle John and Aunt Carolyn would go swimming with all of our family at Logan Martin Lake. I remember how much Uncle John enjoyed teasing Carolyn and I dreamed of one day being in love as much as they were. So I took my college sweetheart to visit Aunt Carolyn when she was at home where she was sewing clothes for Lisa and watching my little cousin, John and at least one cat. I wanted to sew and cook like Aunt Carolyn and create that comfortable home she had and to share this with my boyfriend. When Lisa was a little girl, I saw Aunt Carolyn come back from near death to new life as she made raising Lisa her passion for living. And Lisa was a Daddy's girl, through and through. This is how I will remember Lisa: as the daughter who made life worth living for my Uncle John and Aunt Carolyn. Lisa, how much you were Loved in your short time here!

I knew Lisa from the day she was born. I worked for her father. When Carolyn was pregnant with Lisa she told me not to let John go out of town for clients to make sure he was there for the delivery. I watched her grow i to a lovely lady and great mother. My heart is broken for you John, Carolyn,
