Not sure what to say?

I´m very sorry to learn of Lisa´s passing. She took great care of my senior dog, Cody, and was a comforting presence when he had to be euthanized at home in 2013. She then did petsitting with my new, rambunctious dog, Shelby, until she settled into doggy daycare. Now 11, I was hoping Lisa could come back into our lives to take off Shelby at home. She was a blessing and such a lovely person. My condolences to her loved ones.

Just today, I discovered Lisa’s passing. She and I worked together as paralegals at a law firm in the late ‘90s. She was great at her job and a good friend. Passionate and upbeat, she followed paths that were important to her. I respected her knowledge on various subjects and her ability to warm up any gathering with her insights and enthusiasm. RIP, Lisa.

My cat normally never even emerges to look at a new person until they've been over at least 3 times. Then he stands in the doorway and looks for a minute, and goes back in his room. The first time Lisa came to talk about cat-sitting, the minute she sat down on the couch, Finn jumped into her lap and started purring and showing his belly. I've never seen him do anything like that with anyone else, before or since. I didn't know what happened to her; I couldn't find her the last time I tried to...

Its been a year and we still think of Lisa and how special she was to us and our dogs. We especially miss the fun little messages she would send us when she was house- and dog-sitting for us. We always knew our critters were in good hands.

Sabrina and Wilbur

In loving memory. Lisa was a wonderful and caring 'second mom' to our cats with a warm and conscientious heart. She once texted us in the wee hours to make a plan together to rescue our kitties in case a nearby fire got too close. May she rest in peace, we will miss her.

We met Lisa several years ago when seeking a pet sitter for our dogs Sabrina and Wilbur and our cockatoo Peaches. She was a perfect match for our quirky pets and we always knew they were being loved and cared for when Lisa stayed at our house. We particularly enjoyed receiving her fun and funny updates from our pets via text when we traveled. She will be dearly missed by our little family, and we send our sincere condolences to her family and friends at this sad time.

Becky Prentice...

Lisa helped my friends Ellie and Ken with their health care, and I was impressed by how truly she cared about them. Even when she had to lighten her workload, she made sure they continue to have the support they need. (And she gave me a pair of my favorite sandals when she found they didn't work for her!) Peace, Lisa - you will be sorely missed.

Lisa, your generous loving heart and soul will be missed here on earth. I was glad to have known you, if just a short while. May you rest in Peace.
