Lisa McNamee Dunlap
October 20, 1961 - March 31, 2023
Lovingly survived by her parents, Derral (Mac) and Sandy McNamee; stepson, Alex (Courtney) Dunlap; siblings, Lori (Keith) Crownover, Lynn (Steve) Deetken, Linc (Ronne) McNamee, Lee (Lisa) McNamee, and 24 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her cherished cats, PJ and Jack, and Jack's sister, Jill, was laying with her until she took her last, peaceful breath.
Lisa grew up in Sebastopol, CA, right next to an apple orchard. Her passion for ice skating began at age 11 when she began lessons at Snoopy's Redwood Empire Ice Arena in Santa Rosa. She graduated from Analy High School in 1979, and immediately began her professional ice skating career. Her Analy teachers doted on Lisa, and let her sleep in class after her 4 a.m. skating lessons. Lisa toured all over the world with various ice skating companies for close to ten years. Those travels included Japan, Acapulco, and all over Europe and the United States. She had numerous jobs in food and beverage, bookkeeping and office operations.
Lisa loved camping, Bingo and entertaining. She was an excellent cook and baker. If you were lucky, you received a tin of her yummy cookies at Christmas.
Everyone who loved Lisa and her family is invited to her Celebration of Life on Friday, April 14th, 2023, at Balletto Winery in Santa Rosa, noon to …
Private internment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sebastopol.
Her family would like to thank Bridge Hospice North Bay for their excellent care of Lisa and their compassion and support.
Donations may be made in Lisa's name to the Alzheimer's Association of America.

Not sure what to say?

To Lisa's family, I'm so sorry for your loss. We were friends from Ice Follies when we first started there. She was a great friend while we toured together for a couple years. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I´m awfully sorry to learn of Lisa´s passing at such an early age. We had skated for 2 years in the Ice Follies, began the same year. Then she went to Japan , I believe, and I went to Europe. I loved our wonderful touring and playing Pac-Man! Lol. You made me laugh girl! Until we meet again.....may you Rest in peace

I am so sad to hear about Lisa's passing I have so many fun memories of all the time we spen together in Hollywood, at that funky Hotel we stayed in during rehearsals and the beautiful times spent together in Japan! She was a wonderful friend with the kindest spirit! RIP Lisa! I know your smiling and skating in Heaven!

Lisa was such a joy! During my short year touring with her in Ice Follies, I never heard her have a harsh word for anyone. Quick to laugh and sign up for any adventure in our downtime, my only regret is not having her light in my life all these years. My sincere condolences.

My deepest condolences to the family. Lisa was the best friend anyone could have, I loved her very much. God Bless

I have many fond memories of Lisa and the sleepovers at the McNamee's. So sorry for your loss.

Sending my condolences to Lisa´s family. May she rest in peace. Lovely, beautiful Lisa. Gone too soon.

I was so sad to just read that Lisa had passed away. I have such great memories of her even though I have not seen her in years but she was a pretty unforgettable person I think that it's rare when we are lucky enough to have someone pass through our life like a whisper of sunlight and happiness and that's how I will always remember Lisa. Always with the million watt smile, sitting next to each other at bingo, or going to lunch, or her excitement about her collection of slot machines. She was...
