Lisa Anne Gaston

I was Lisa's classmate at Bryn Mawr. Although I haven't seen her since, I remember her well. It is inspiring to read about her life, and it feels entirely of a piece with the young woman I knew many decades ago. May her life and legacy be a comfort to those who loved her and an inspiration to those who never had the pleasure of knowing her.

It´s been more than twenty years since I´ve spoken with Lisa, but I remember her fondly from our days volunteering together for an organization called KidsVoting, where we had some very cool successes. I´m sorry to hear that she´s gone, but I´m happy, and not the least bit surprised, to know she lived such a rich life.

Always smart, always kind, always composed and generous, Lisa, will be missed. I will treasure memories of her at Piedmont High whether in chorus or Mr. Killian´s extraordinary English class and our ongoing FB conversations. God Speed home, Lisa.
