Not sure what to say?

Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of a courageous person whose strength was an inspiration to us all. Her cheerfulness and smile brightened the neighborhood and will long be remembered.

Kiddo, you were my buddy when I really needed one. We lost touch over the years and reunited in the latter days, something I am most thankful for. You touched many people and we are all the better for it.

Lisa, you had been the 1st girl my daughter(Angela)brought home from school when we moved to Villa Park. I will always remember that day, because you walked in, wearing the biggest, most dazzling smile I had ever seen. I will never forget your amazing, cheerful, and forever positive attitude. You will forever remain close to my heart.

With loving thoughts and prayers

To the Grau & Freschi families-

Our family lost my sister & brother-in law recently, and we will keep you in our prayers. Lisa was a very special lady! VPHS Class of 1982.

Lisa was my 4th grade girlfriend, and the first girl I ever kissed. Though we grew apart during high school, she always held a special place in my heart. I did manage to see her from time to time at Villa Park Little League functions, where we would share a smile. She was a special lady.

God Bless
Darren Smith

The Elzey family sends our prayers for your family at this time. We know you will be greatly missed but know that you are in a good place without pain.

Lisa, I'm so sad I never formally hugged you good-bye after high school graduation, class '82. Thank you for the great memories and laughter we shared. You were always a princess wearing purple, the cloth of royalty. You have touched every soul you have met with your warm, brown eyes and friendly smile. Your work here on Earth is complete, may you rest in Peace. Friends for eternity.

A Mazda Party to Honor You...our Lovely Lisa!

Lisa...to the lady who defind the word "class", you always inspired me to be a better person. Your words of wisdom will be with me forever! From all of your friends at Mazda, we will miss you tremendously! All my love!

I hadn't seen Lisa for probably over 20 years and even then I wasn't very close to her; still, when I read about her passing in the paper, the day became decidedly darker. Lisa always seemed to have the ability to transcend the pettiness and weirdness of high school in such an effortless and natural way. She had such a nice genuine smile. Her smile, I think, seemed to express her gratitude that she was there at that time at that place with those people. I'm really honored to have been one of...
