Not sure what to say?

I am so thankful to have been a part of "Miss Hoffman's" first year of teaching (third grade) students at McGrath Elementary. I have so many fond memories of her teaching, she was one of my favorite teachers. I went back several years later to visit her with some friends. She definatley made an impact on my life with her bright smile and I know she left that same impact with anyone who knew her. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Im wishing you all the peace and solace that you were able to find in this difficult time. Lisa was an amazing person to say the least. Im so grateful that I got a chance to work with her and become friends with her.

I graduated GBHS with Lisa and although we had lost touch over the years I will always remember what a happy, kind person she was. To Micki and the rest of the family, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Lisa was a fellow Bobcat in the class of 1982. I will always remember her athletic physique and her ability to smile and laugh in the face of unsettling times-even when she was a teenager. Her legacy lives on as she will always be a great role model for me.

So sorry to see this. Prayers to all her friends and family. I want to Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher to my children when they were younger.

I know Lisa only through Rick, but it sounds to me as though she earned her Angel's wings while she was with us. Kind, compassionate and dedicated to all whom she taught and all with whom she interacted. She made our world a better place and will be sorely missed. But her gifts to her students, friends and colleagues benefit all of us. Rest in peace with the Lord, Lisa. And bless you forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with Rick and Lisas whole family I say with a heavy heart that I feel blessed that I met this wonderful beautiful lady (inside and out). I never saw such persistence in a person fighting this battle every single day. I never once in 6 years heard her complain. Maybe twice she came out with a its not a good day. To me she is a hero of strength. I never knew how much I complained till I met her. I saw her more than I saw my family. Twice a month I looked forward to...

I am so truly sorry for your loss, Lisa was my daughters kindergarten teacher at Reid Elementary in Grand Blanc in 1989. She was a wonderful teacher, kind and a caring. She will definitely be missed. Sending our prayers and sympathies to the family.
